I’ve been super scarce around here, and I don’t really like it that much. Sometimes I feel this blog is becoming a 365 project, and it’s really not. I have a whole list of things written on my phone of things I want to blog about and share, but I just never get around to doing it. Because when I’ve spent so much time on the computer all day, I just want to live in the real world for the rest of the day.
Anyway, a scarf update!

I started out updating this every Sunday. Then it became every 2nd week, because I didn’t want to spam you all. Then, well, sometimes I lost track of the week, sometimes I ran out of time, and sometimes it just got too overwhelming sorting through all the pictures to put a post together, and here we are at a 4 week update!
There are some goodies in this one, with lots of new accessories (including gifts, my wedding tiara and a “clip on necklace” from a top I bought) and scarves.

We’re heading well into the 90s this week, and soon I’ll be hitting triple digits! Kind of funny. Then what? I’ll almost be halfway! till impressed I’ve managed to get this far. It’s funny when you start to notice trends from week to week. See how week 12 happened to have a lot of blue? I never realised. I also got the loveliest surprise delivery in the post just before Shabbat from a friend of some gorgeous scarves. I can’t wait to wear them! I hope you all have a great week 🙂
Oh goodness, I can’t believe I’ve skipped out on a full 4 weeks of this on my blog! Well, I guess this is going to be a juicy one then! In this post you’ll see the addition of some blue, as well as white (I’ve actually bought two blue scarves, a colour a hardly wear!) and some of my favourite heardwrap/scarf combinations to date! So much so, that I’ve decided to highlight them below.
If you’d like to get notified of each post update, subscribe to receive email notifications (sign up on the right side-bar!). You can also follow me on instagram (@LeeLipman89) or like my blogs Facebook page (also on the side-bar), where you can find my super nifty (mobile friendly) app showcasing all the scarves in my 365 project. It’s a glorified gallery of sorts.
Happy viewing, guys!
This may not be the most fancy wrap, but I love how I managed to use the tiara I wore to our wedding to add some special love and sparkle for Shabbat.
The unexpected combination of colours came out so beautifully. I literally felt like royalty this day.
I’d never worn this leopard scarf as it’s blue (my fear colour!) and square (I prefer rectangular scarves). I just love how light, flowy and elegant this came out. This is something I could definitely wear to a wedding.
Have a great week, everyone. I promise to try update this more regularly 🙂
PS. Don’t you love my work bathrooms in the background of my pictures? 😛 I think I need to work at taking these elsewhere… and try my best not to look awkward carrying a mirror.
Just because I haven’t been updating the blog, it doesn’t mean I’ve neglected this little project. I’m uploading daily on instagram (where you can follow me on leelipman89 – I promise it’s not all daily scarves). Looking back, it shows I need to try more hanging down looks (I like the plait in week 6) and need to try show the other side of my head, or my neck might get stuck that way.
I think I need to get some more scarves, I’m actually interested in counting how many I have. If you have any that you’re planning on throwing out or don’t match any of your clothes anymore, give me a shout, perhaps we could do a swapsies 🙂
We were away last week, and this little getaway was super important, so I didn’t want to detract from time away to sit and blog. But never fear, for an update is here – and it’s a double whammy. I’ll be honest, the week we were away the scarves were nothing too interesting. I only took a handful with me, because I figured I’d spend a lot of my time at the beach in hats. Then I remembered how terrible hats look on me.
Some days were really hard putting on a scarf, because I brought so few, and didn’t bring any accessories (didn’t want to lose them. As proof, I did lose the blue headband that I wore on the drive up). So some days were difficult, and a bit uninspiring, but I’m glad that I kept it up.
